🚀 Bulk Import with Automatic Images
Setting up hundreds of products used to be tedious. Now you can upload an Excel file (.xlsx, .xls, .csv) with all product data, select a folder containing product images, and SolutioPOS will automatically match and embed the images. A progress bar and batching ensure the UI never freezes – even with thousands of items.
🚫 Duplicate Product Prevention
Products are now uniquely identified by barcode. SolutioPOS will not let you add a product with an existing barcode – whether you're adding one product manually or doing a bulk import. Bulk import will skip duplicates and tell you how many were skipped, so you never accidentally double your inventory.
🖥️ Full‑Screen Mode on Point of Sale
Click the new Maximize button in the top bar to enter full‑screen mode. This is perfect for tablets, touch monitors, or any situation where you want a distraction‑free checkout environment. Exit full‑screen with the same button or press Esc.
🍽️ Quick Restaurant Mode Toggle
No more digging through settings to switch between normal customer mode and restaurant (table / takeaway) mode. A new Utensils button on the POS page toggles the mode instantly – perfect for businesses that alternate between walk‑in customers and dine‑in tables.
💰 Dashboard Profit with Your Currency
The profit card on the dashboard now respects the currency symbol you set in the admin panel. No more confusing default symbols – your reports reflect your actual business.
📱 Completely Reworked Touch Screen Mode
Touch screen users, this one is for you. The entire touch interface has been rebuilt:
- The right panel (cart summary, payment method, cart items) is always visible – no more hidden sections.
- All buttons, category filters, quantity controls, and dropdowns are larger and properly spaced for fingers.
- Barcode input is hidden on touch devices (since you don't need it on a tablet).
- A "Clear Cart" button has been added inside the invoice summary panel.
🖼️ Larger Product Images
Product images are now twice as large in both the admin product list and the POS product grid. In touch‑mode, images are even bigger for easier tapping. Your products will now be more visible to your cashiers.
🏗️ Pure JSON Database – No More Installation Errors
We've replaced the previous database engine with a pure JSON‑based system. This eliminates installation errors caused by missing drivers or permissions. SolutioPOS is now even more reliable on any Windows PC.
📍 “Pay & Print” Button Moved Higher
The “Pay & Print” button is no longer stuck at the bottom of the screen. You can see it immediately without scrolling – a small change that saves time during busy hours.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed a printer listener leak that could cause performance degradation over long periods.
- Fixed Developer Tools opening automatically in the installed app – no more unexpected debug windows.
- Fixed cashier dropdown and PIN modal not working correctly in some scenarios.
- Fixed product images not showing after bulk import (now they appear automatically).
- Fixed touch mode being completely unusable – the cart and payment sections are now visible and functional.
