Managing Multiple Businesses with SolutioPOS – Multi‑Store POS
If you own multiple stores, cafes, or franchises, SolutioPOS lets you manage all of them from a single installation. Each business has its own products, inventory, sales, and receipts – but you control everything with one admin password. Here's how multi‑business mode works.
Creating additional businesses
In the Admin Panel, go to the Businesses tab. Click "New Business". Enter the business name, address, phone, tax rate, currency, and upload a logo. Each business operates independently with its own database of products, customers, and coupons.
Switching between businesses
On the POS screen, there's a dropdown menu showing the current business. Click it to switch to another business instantly. Cashiers can be assigned to specific businesses or have access to all – depending on your configuration.
Reporting across businesses
SolutioPOS does not automatically aggregate sales from all businesses into one report, but you can export sales data from each business as CSV and combine them in Excel. We may add cross‑business analytics in a future update (see roadmap).
Use cases
- Franchise owner: Separate inventory and sales for each location.
- Pop‑up shops: Create temporary businesses for events, then delete them.
- Different currencies: Each business can have its own currency symbol (e.g., one store in USD, another in EUR).
Best practices
- Set a strong global admin password – it works across all businesses.
- Regularly back up the database (the file contains all businesses).
- Use descriptive business names to avoid confusion on the POS screen.
Multi‑business support is included in the standard $49.99 license – no extra fees. Upgrade to SolutioPOS today and manage your entire operation from one PC.
